Man United vs Man city 2-0:Bruno Fernandes on Fire 🔥Ryan Giggs reaction to Solskjaer Match Analysis

Bruno Fernandes lights up Old Trafford as Manchester United secure derby win over City
The Red Devils completed the double over their rivals for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement

As the rain returned, pelting down over Old Trafford, the home crowd were up to applaud their new maestro. It will not be remarkable news that Bruno Fernandes once again delivered a decisive performance for Manchester United.

That he was luminary on an evening when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side completed a league double over Manchester City for the first time since Alex Ferguson retired, a feat last achieved in 2009-10, was more distinguishable.

The terraces thundered at the final whistle, the noise not only signifying the importance of the result, but the magnitude of the performance.

In keeping with the other episodes of this season’s Manchester derbies, there were shades of the unexpected – none more so than Pep Guardiola’s men being thoroughly outplayed.

The tone was set early on through Anthony Martial’s excellent defensive header inside his own six-yard box under pressure from Nicolas Otamendi. Fred followed up that unforeseen piece of play by nutmegging Oleksandr Zinchenko and the shredding of the script continued on the half-hour mark.

I thought when Manchester United was buying Bruno Fernandez they would have been held to ransom and have to pay about £100 million but seeing what type of player we got if we did have to pay £100 million he would have still been worth it

If Pogbe leaves this team after today he is Raiolas bitch, him and Bruno with Mctominay would batter any midfield in the world.

Great passion from United, that's all we as fans ask for, credit to Ole. In the Mourinho era, it looked like no one wanted to be there which is the worst thing as a fan, now at least we can see we're trying. A few more quality signings from Ole and we'll be excellent. All his signings so far have been impressive, he's got the best out of Fred, Shaw and Martial and he gives youth a chance. Can't blame him for the poor start this season, he's rebuilding and the quality just wasn't there in some areas, Lingard as AM and Pereirra on the wing in particular.

what does wan bissaka's physicality have to do with anything. he's clearly good at reading tackles, and staying calm in 1v1. don't reduce every black player to strength and physicality

Michael Owen has an agenda with Man Utd. If he has a choice to be neg/pos about us he will always be negative. I just do not like him at all.
