my contour option is not working. Why could that be? I am trying to use it to simply make a monogram?

I have a Cricut Expore Air 2 and I am having difficulty with downloading a logo with layers and getting it to cut out in a vinyl.  I am interested in using the high contour feature to separate the layers.  Could you tell me where I could go to get all the different steps in order to do this?  thanks

hello, you are so awesome!, I have one request for your help. Example: I'm trying to make a 4 foot tall dr.seuss centerpiece, so I uploaded both the silohette of the image and the colored image, I was able to get my explore to cut the silohette at the size I wanted, however I wanted to add the colored layers so I tried to print then cut the colored layers I put the image on the canvas and I tried to slice the part I didn't want. why does the slice feature turn the image grey so I loose the original color and the image prints grey, also, with the max print size being smaller than my silohette of the image, how would I go about sizing each individual piece, such as face, body, feet to be able to fit my silohette it's ok of it has some black shadowing. please.please, please help I know you could, you seem like a cricut professional you're awesome!

Ken, I am having trouble cutting thru cardstock.  I have to put the dial on Poster Board, or it just scores the cut.  HELP?
