Munnar is a town and hill station located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. Munnar is situated at around 1,600 metres (5,200 ft) above sea level, in the Western Ghats range of mountains.
The nearest major railway stations are at Ernakulam and Aluva (approximately 140 kilometres (87 mi) by road).and nearest major airport is Kochi.

Vattavada is a virtually rain shadow village, lying in the eastern side of the Western Ghats near to Marayur and north side of Munnar.The region in and around Vattavada varies in height from 1,450 meters (4,760 ft) to 2,695 meters (8,842 ft) above mean sea level. Vattavada enjoys a salubrious climate.Vattavada is known as the fruit basket of Kerala and it is famous for its wide variety of crops which is not seen on the other parts of Kerala, which includes varieties of apple, orange, strawberry,marathakkali and passion fruits etc. Awsome climate and nature…Dear viewers,definitely you should come here atleast once.
